Getting hard services engineers in place, ready for go-live

How dedicated project mobilisation teams turned newly won FM contracts into fully staffed, on time go-lives for two national FM providers.

The situation

Winning the contract was only half the job.

Two large national facilities management providers were winning new maintenance contracts. Each came with a fixed go-live date and a need for volume hires of hard services engineers to be in place by that date. Neither had the internal recruitment resource to run that kind of bulk hiring on their own, so they needed a partner who could scale up fast and deliver specialist engineers against a hard deadline.

What we proposed and did

One team, one job: engineers for these contracts.

We proposed, and won, the project mobilisation work across multiple contract wins for both clients. Rather than spread the workload thin, we built a dedicated team of specialist recruiters whose only focus was sourcing hard services engineers for those roles and contracts. Around that team went a proper attraction strategy, with targeted campaigns for each contract. Progress was never left to guesswork: weekly and daily updates kept everyone aligned, with shared visibility of where each mobilisation stood, open to the client at any time.

What changed

100%Resourced ahead of go-live, every contract
MultipleContract mobilisations delivered for both clients
RepeatBoth clients came back for the next contract wins

Every contract went live fully resourced, with engineers in place well ahead of the deadline. That proved the team could deliver bulk hiring for a specific client and contract, to an agreed timescale, without drama.
