The role
What the job actually involves.
Our Newcastle hard services division delivers mechanical, electrical and building services maintenance across a commercial, education and public sector portfolio in the North East. Joining the regional senior leadership team, you will lead high performing technical teams, hold strong client relationships, and keep every contract compliant and profitable.
You will take full operational, financial and technical ownership of your hard services contracts. Day to day that means managing site based and mobile engineering supervisors, overseeing CAFM performance against SLAs and KPIs, and driving commercial performance through accurate P&L management, variations and quote approvals. With your engineering background you will be the senior escalation point for complex plant room issues, statutory compliance audits and specialist subcontractor management.
Within six months you will know every site and key stakeholder in your portfolio, have clear control over SLA completion and subcontractor delivery, and hold tight control of contract margins. The role is open because of strategic contract growth and new commercial account wins across the North East.
