What the job actually involves.
Our Yorkshire mobile maintenance team delivers planned servicing, reactive breakdown cover and statutory gas compliance across a commercial portfolio of offices, schools, retail parks and leisure facilities. You will keep first time fix rates high, communication with clients clear, and safety standards strict in every plant room.
You will take full technical ownership of commercial heating and hot water assets across your Yorkshire patch, spanning West and South Yorkshire. Day to day that means diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults on commercial boilers, direct and indirect fired appliances, radiant tubes and plant equipment, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, handling emergency breakdowns, and performing tightness testing and purging to Gas Safe regulations.
Within six months you will know the site portfolio well, have good relationships with the on-site facilities managers, and be fully on the call-out rota. The role is open because of new commercial contract wins across Yorkshire.
What we are looking for
- Valid commercial ACS gas qualifications: COCN1 or CODNCO1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1/TPCP1A
- Proven background in commercial gas servicing, fault finding and reactive maintenance on FM contracts or multi-site estates
- A proactive, customer focused approach and strong communication
Package
- Salary £45,000 to £48,000 per annum
- Fully badged company van with fuel card, available for personal use
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

- Standby allowance for a 1 in 5 call-out rota, door to door overtime rates
