The role
What the job actually involves.
Our West Midlands mobile engineering team delivers planned maintenance, reactive breakdown cover and statutory compliance servicing across hotels, restaurants, corporate headquarters, education and leisure venues. You will keep first time fix rates high, communication with clients clear, and safety standards strict in every kitchen you visit.
You will take full technical ownership of commercial catering equipment across your Birmingham and West Midlands patch. Day to day that means diagnosing electrical, gas and mechanical faults on commercial warewashers, combi ovens, ranges, fryers, grills and beverage equipment, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, handling breakdown repairs, and performing gas safety inspections to Gas Safe and CCEECC standards.
Within six months you will know the site portfolio well, have strong relationships with regional catering managers and head chefs, and be fully on the regional call-out rota. The role is open because of contract expansion and new site wins across Birmingham and the West Midlands.
