People
Astrid Camacho and Adrian Smith spent most of their careers inside one of the world's largest recruitment groups, running and reshaping national facilities management operations. Branta is that experience, applied directly: two directors on every brief, and consulting that grew out of clients asking what else they knew.
Twenty years in facilities management recruitment, almost all of it in the North. At Randstad she rose from consultant to Head of FM North, then led the UK facilities management division, then served as Client Services Director for Randstad Digital and for FM. A Northern Region committee member of the IWFM since 2015, she founded Branta in 2025 and leads commercial strategy, client relationships and talent engagements.

Twenty seven years in recruitment, most of it at Randstad, where he ran the construction, property and facilities business through a national office network, accountable for £100m of revenue and 80 staff, and was strategic lead for the FM division. He then led the technologies business as Senior Director of Operations, sat on the UK operational board, and finished as a client partner in Randstad Digital. He joined Branta in 2025 and leads recruitment delivery, operations and structural change.
